Please note - this feature requires the user to have some "Company Level Permissions" for "Project Templates". If you do not have this permission level, you will not have access to these features. Contact your Company Admin if you need to be granted access to this feature. If you need any assistance, please contact Support.
1. Log in to Obi

2. Click on the "Switch To.." button

3. Select The Client Portal

4. Click on "Project Templates"

5. From here you can edit existing templates, or create new ones.

1. Click on Create new Project Template

2. Use the form to fill in the project configurations you would like to use as part of this template
Tip: Give your Template a recognizable Title - This is what the user will see when creating a new project with this template.

3. Add a description to help other users identify the template

4. Fill in the Project configurations
You can add as much or as little detail to these sections as you need for your projects.

5. If you would like to import your configurations using an excel file - hit the "IMPORT TEMPLATE" button
You can "export" an excel table from any Obi project you have access to, and use this same file as an import for your new template - keep this in mind if you want to share project settings with colleagues.

6. If you want to start from a blank file, you can also download an empty import template here

7. Select the file you want to import from your PC or device.

8. Click on IMPORT to begin reading the excel file

9. The import function will fill in all of the contents in the excel file to the relevant field in the screen.
If there were any errors with this excel import, you will get an email notification with details of how to resolve them.

10. Click on "SAVE" when you are happy with all the information

Your new Template appears in the Library, and will be visible to other users in the same company as you who have access to the Template Library.
Tip: Use the "Export Template" button to download the project configurations to excel, which you can then send to users outside of your company. Those users can then import the file to use these same configurations in their own templates/projects.
