Updates and Improvements to the obi Application
Feature Spotlight: Multi-Factor Authentication
Users now have the option to add multi-factor authentication to their account in Obi. This feature makes accounts more secure, and protects against security leaks by requiring accounts with it active to use a secondary device to confirm the login. There are two options for authentication methods:
- Using an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator) to provide a code when logging in
- Receiving an SMS message containing a code that can be used when logging in
Accounts can activate both features for extra security if one method is not available.
1: MFA turned on in a user's profile page
For any questions or concerns about the new MFA feature, contact Obi support for assistance.
