Release Notes February 2024

Updates and improvements to obi Web and Mobile Applications

  • Custom Mandatory Fields Picker for IFCOs: During inspections, the project's nature can influence the mandatory information fields (description/photo/zones) on the input form. In the latest update, users have the flexibility to designate which fields are mandatory for each project. These mandatory field settings are applicable across all devices used for issue reporting (requires the latest version of the mobile app) and are inherited from the "Project Template" when initiating a new project.
  • Bulk Upload for Benchmarks: Users now have the convenience of creating multiple benchmarks at once using an Excel file. By uploading the provided template, benchmarks are processed in the background, and users receive email confirmation upon completion. In case of any issues with the file, such as incorrect format or errors, a detailed error log is included in the email, facilitating easy correction of the uploaded file.
  • Enhanced Permissions Visibility for Company Administrators: In response to user feedback following the introduction of the permissions feature, we have streamlined the process for Company Administrators to manage permissions in their projects. Now, any Company Admin can conveniently view all permission groups associated with their Company Projects in both the client portal and the "quick add user" feature. This improvement simplifies the task of adding new users to existing groups and facilitates the monitoring of project access levels.

    What's Next?

Expanded IFCO Evidence Options: Users will have the flexibility to upload various file types, such as videos, PDFs, Word documents, and Excel files, when adding evidence to an IFCO. This feature will accessible both through the browser and the mobile app. Notably, when adding videos via the app, users can utilise a trimming option to highlight specific relevant points before uploading.
