Managing user groups and permissions

How to assign users to groups and provide access to the required modules in obi

1 – Ensure the user has been created in the project using the instructions provided in this article

2 – Navigate to the 'Project Admin' module and hover over it. From the fly-out that appears, select 'Permissions'.

3 – Select the user group you wish to add the user to. 

4 - Ensure the permissions on the second screen are correct. 

5 - Type the user's name into the white box that appears on the third screen and click 'Finish'. 

6 - To give access to design deliverables, navigate to the the 'Design Management' module on the obi dashboard and hover over it. From the fly-out that appears, select 'Design Deliverables'.

7 - Hover over the relevant deliverable, and click the pencil icon to edit. 

8 - Add the user's name to the relevant field (record viewers, to be notified, or both). 

9 - Click the blue 'save' button at the bottom of the page.
