How to create an obi® format report within the inspection plan timeline.

1 - From the Quality Management module on the left-hand side of the screen, select "Inspection Plan Timeline." This is the inspections calendar module for obi®.

2 - Navigate to the specific inspection event for which you want to upload your report. When you've located the event, click the "upload" button. You can also begin an unscheduled report by clicking the "+" icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

3 - On the report upload page, select "obi® format." You must also include the date, title of the inspection report, weather (if applicable), work packages, and floor plans to be inspected.

5 - After entering all of the information, click "continue," which will take you to the inspection pins page, which looks similar to the one on the obi® mobile inspection app. As a result, you drag and drop your pins in the correct floor plan. Include your instructions or comments if necessary; otherwise, proceed and click "next" on the bottom right-hand side of the screen.

Red pin - Issues/Snags

Green Pin - photo evidence, site progress or compliant workmanship

Blue pin - Queries/RFIs

7 - To drop a pin, simply drag and drop the pin to the desired location on the floor plan. When you drop your pin, a card will appear on the right side of the screen for you to fill out with the necessary information.

Red pin - requires you to enter the issue type, title, work package, zone, and photo evidence.

Green Pin - requires you to enter the title, work package, zone, and upload your photo evidence.

Blue pin - requires you to enter the query category, work package, zone, subject, and question, as well as the people you want to receive or be notified about this query. You may upload photo evidence if necessary.

6 - If you are finished with your report, click "next." You will now see a summary of your report with all actions you took as part of this inspection, and you will be required to enter your name, which will appear at the top of the report, as well as select the individuals from the project directory drop-down menu to whom you would like to send a copy of the report.

7 - After all required information has been entered, click the "submit report" button. The system will compile all of the data and generate your PDF report. This report will be available for viewing and downloading on the inspection plan timeline and overview page, and a copy will be emailed to all individuals you have assigned before submission.
